Description
Spongostan has a neutral pH and can absorb 45 times its own weight. Sterile 1 x 1 x 1 cm.
Spongostan absorbable hemostatic gelatin sponge is a sterile, water-insoluble, malleable sponge intended for hemostatic use by applying to a bleeding surface. Spongostan will create a barrier together with fibrin which will stop the bleeding in 2–10 minutes and will be completely resorbed in 4–6 weeks.
