Description
Formo Cresol is indicated for use as a disinfectant and devitalizing solution used as part of endodontic treatment. Buckley’s formulation has a lower concentration of the active ingredients (formaldehyde and cresol), which is intended to be less irritating to periapical tissue than the standard formulation of Formo Cresol.
Master-Dent® Formo-Cresol is used primarily for the treatment of putrescent or necrotic pulps as well as a temporary medicament during root canal therapy.
